The block on Reggie Miller. Eleven seasons in Detroit. The longest wingspan in the league did the most thinking.

Drafted 23rd overall in 2002 out of Kentucky. Eleven seasons in Detroit, the 2004 title, four All-Defensive teams. The starting small forward who never asked to be the show.

Chase-down block on Reggie Miller in Game 2 of the 2004 ECF — one of the great hustle plays in NBA history. Tayshaun was on the other side of the floor when Reggie cut, and on the rim when Reggie tried to lay it in.

Guarded Kobe Bryant. Guarded LeBron James. Guarded Carmelo Anthony. Guarded everyone, every night, with arms that came from another part of the alphabet.
